Promoting Healthcare…Rock the Vote Style.

December 21, 2009

Liberals will do anything to get support for Health Care.  Take for example some bribes.  Ben Nelson got a sweet deal.  His state doesn’t have to pay for Medicaid anymore.  Guess who does?  Yes, the American taxpayer.  Mary Landreiu got $100 million for her state (Click here for details), some reports have said $300 million.  So, how does the left get the youth to support their health care plan?  Well, in a word, sex.  Don’t take my word for it.  Watch for yourself

Zac and Eva tell you the cool and sexy way to rock the vote.

Yeah, nothing like some good sex to convince your friends to support healthcare.  Liberal Hollywood and their brilliant, new ideas. HA!

What is Rock the Vote’s Mission?

Rock the Vote’s mission is to engage and build the political power of young people in order to achieve progressive change in our country Rock the Vote uses music, popular culture and new technologies to engage and incite young people to register and vote in every election. And we give young people the tools to identify, learn about, and take action on the issues that affect their lives, and leverage their power in the political process.

We are creative, effective, and controlled by nobody’s agenda but our own – we tell it like it is and pride ourselves on being a trusted source for information on politics.  We empower the 45 million young people in America who want to step up, claim their voice in the political process, and change the way politics is done.

Forgive the rant, but this is the must absurd thing I’ve ever seen.  Sex… That’s all RTV could come up with?  According to Rock the Vote young people are in danger because they don’t have health insurance.  I guess RTV forgot this little fact, young people ages 18-29 choose no healthcare.  They feel like they don’t need it.  It’s the whole “I feel invincible” right out of highschool/college feeling.  But hey, I see why RTV is concerned beacuse if you’re a politcally active young person involved with RTV and you are trying to convince your friends to support healthcare… you will need some form of healthcare coverage.  After all, who is going to pay for those STD’s and abortions you’ll need covered after the sex?  Not to mention how this video portrays the youth of America.  It makes young people look like a bunch of sex seeking fools and gullible morons.  What a compliment young America!  What happen to morals?  Integrity?  This organization is doing nothing to help out young people.  RTV claims to help people become politcally involved.  I guess that includes sleeping with anyone to get them to support your causes.  If ever I need to show someone an example of why I’m not a young liberal, I’ll point them in the direction of Rock the Vote, and this video in particular.

And to finish, the Rock the Vote Healthcare Pledge :

We pledge ourselves to the health and liberty of young Americans. And to government for the people. We pledge to educate ourselves to stand against those who fight us. With mind, body and spirit. And to never f***ing you if you are against us. We will vote against you, work against you and once again, just in case you forgot, never, ever, never, ever, never ever, never ever f*** you.

Wow, stay classy Rock the Vote.

Update: Rock the Vote also claims to be a non-partisan organization.

Rock the Vote is a nonpartisan organization. This means that we do not support or endorse candidates nor do we participate in any activities that could benefit one party over another. There are many laws governing our work as a nonpartisan organization and we take our non partisanship seriously. We cannot approve use of our logo for any partisan effort.

Really?  Non partisan?  That video sounded pretty partisan to me.  I don’t recall them telling young people to read up on the facts and then decide for themselves.  No, what I saw was a bunch of young liberals telling young people to have sex with your friends to get them to vote for health care and if they don’t, well, never have sex with them again.  I also recall them making fun of “Death Panels” hmm I’d say the video was full blown partisanship.

I’d also like to point out to RTV that this health care plan actually punishes young people.  Like I said earlier, young people choose to be uninsured.  But, Congress’ new plan will force young people to buy insurance… taking away their freedom to choose!!  And, they’ll also have to pay a fine/tax if they don’t choose to receive healthcare.  Maybe next time Rock the Vote could use actual facts to educate their members.

All the time I was watching this, It must be that you don’t get parody or humor, but turns out that they really did this. They put forth the argument that if you don’t support HCR, liberals won’t have sex with you.

Not that big a deal. Liberals are gullible enough to believe I do support HCR.

OK I just backspaced over a bunch of stuff that probably wasn’t where you wanted to go with this. You’re welcome. Let’s just say I’m surprised they’ve never heard of a guy lying to get what he wants.

Rock the Vote is interested in getting young people to be politically active — but only if they vote Democrat. If the group claims they’re not controlled by anyone’s agenda, they’re lying.
You’re right, Jackie. If sex is all they can come up with for an argument, it only makes them look like gullible morons.
I’m just thankful for young people like yourself who don’t buy into that mindset. We need to remember that it’s righteousness that exalts a nation.

Just one more reason I’m convinced that given enough time, liberals will self-terminate…

WOW. Wasn’t that an enlightening video?!

Thanks for pointing this out – definitely non-partisan. Morally flawless too! I don’t know who they thought they were going to convince…

These are the tools we want youth to embrace for political reform? Using sex and bribery to influence decisions?
    Future sluts of America unite.

Maybe next time Rock the Vote could use actual facts to educate their members.

What? And make their targets vote against them? You must be outside your mind.

Jackie is more than right…they know they have to go after today’s young people because Pelosi and Dingy Harry wont get much older. If we can start with today’s youth as well we can get their head on straight before the lib trolls reach them. Go Jackie Go!!

Jackie, you are totally right and an amazing writer. Kudos!

But I think this with this RTV ad, they don’t realize that the joke’s on them. Us hot, young, conservative ladies won’t have sex with them anyway. If they want to really threaten someone, they should threaten us with something we actually would miss.

Keep writing, girl! Looking forward to reading more.
